This week has been... something to say the least.
We were in the office on Monday as usual, creating social media posts, I was running over G-Cloud with Simon, and we had some discussions over how we're using Hootsuite and decided to keep using it, and we were doing further work on the demo. But then Simon decided it would be best if we stayed home on Tuesday/Wednesday and worked from home due to the Coronavirus. Simon asked us to post a statement on social media to let our clients know what was going on.
Staying at home is going to be difficult in the forseeable future since a lot of the footage we need for the showreel needs to be recorded in the office. Thankfully we have a lot of 'dummy' footage we can use as placeholders in the meantime to get a glimpse of what the finished product will look like.
So I worked on this at home, aliasing with Ahmed on FaceTime so we were both up to speed on what eachother were doing. Our main focus at the minute is the Showreel but we're keeping up to speed with our usual duties as best we can. We originally had until the 13th of April to finish the whole showreel but we're hoping this will now be pushed back since this situation is out of our control.
I heard back from Mind regarding our escalla Citizenship project and we have been assigned someone to help us with our event. Unsure of how this is going to play out though due to the pandemic.
We now have 2 minutes worth of showreel that we can work with. We still need logins for Job Planning and MSF so we can screen record that footage. I also need to get some key points of MSF. We're making the showreel in Photoshop and it's really handy actually.
I'm aiming to finish my competitor analysis report as I write this, I'm still revising for the first exam (whenever it is) and have yet to start on my other reports, but I'm thinking that working on home will help me get this done quicker than I would at work.

Working from home sounds like such a good idea and then this happens and we realise what a pain it can be! You are getting on really well and it has been good to see how productive you have been. The feedback from Simon in your review was excellent! Well done! As soon as I hear back from C&G regarding the exam I will let you know. We hope this can be taken at home asap :-)
