Sixty-second week! (1/3/21 - 5/3/21)

This week I had a 121 review with Simon to discuss my progress.

We have decided that instead of sending newsletters out automatically using Mailchimp that I will write to each contact individually on behalf of Simon. I did this for our March Newsletter this month and we got a great number of responses back which wouldn't normally happen if we had used Mailchimp which was good.

I worked with Tim on creating our remote feedback flowchart this week. He drew an initial design and I have re-created it virtually on Canva - we're going to show it to Simon and Rob for feedback and improvements.

I delivered our latest showreel update to the team - we discussed further changes and how I should look into gathering the HD watermark-free footage to prepare the final render. Most of the changes we discussed were only small tweaks so we're really ready,

I had a call with Angela from Cavell to confirm our partnership and fundraising agreement. She is going to send over a draft of our agreement in a document that me and Simon can go over.

We had another Zebra meeting on Thursday to discuss progress. We have decided that we will start to push out social media and marketing campaigns in April after the acquisition has firmly settled.

I reported this months management information to G-Cloud - no business.

I have been helping Simon to create a quote document to use to send to clients with information when they purchase a system from us.

Sixty-first week! (22/2/21 - 26/1/21)

This week I finished off our March Newsletter - beforehand I had meetings with Nikki and Simon to discuss and gather content. We have decided that instead of using Mailchimp to automatically send emails, we're going to personally write to each PD contact. By doing this we hope to get more people reading the newsletters and interacting with us.

I had a meeting with Rob, Tim and Simon to discuss our marketing strategy for the new patient feedback system. We already have the collateral piece I worked on a few months ago but this needs refinement, and I am working on a new page on our website.

I have started to create a flowchart graphic for the patient feedback as well to use in future presentations, collateral and our website. It will help people decide whether they need CFEP, EQ, PReP or Edgecumbe. Tim has been helping me to create this.

I had a very important meeting with Simon to discuss my new job role and new pay - from March 1st I will be a Marketing Executive! I'm so proud of myself - and as soon as I get my EPA results I will be able to apply for the Level 4 apprenticeship of the same name.

This week we announced to the rest of the company that we have acquired Zebra Technologies' rostering system. I helped format the announcement letter for this.

Next Thursday I have a call with Angela from Cavell to arrange our partnership agreement.

I created a new signature for our company to use after our emails which features all the companies we have partnered with.

I have finished all the tweaks and changes we discussed at the last showreel meeting. We have another next week, we're nearing towards completion in my opinion. Exciting!

Sixtieth week! (15/2/21 - 19/2/21)

This week I had a meeting with Simon, Ahmed and Lewis to discuss how we're going to make sure we're on all the correct procurement portals. Lewis suggested creating a new inbox just for these portals and signing up to all the relevant mail lists using keywords which I think is a good idea - for now, him and Ahmed are going to be taking on this task.

After many emails between Emma and me where we tried to get my EPA portfolio under 70MB, it's finally ready for marking! A lot of my reports and videos had massive file sizes so I had to compress them.

I have been making some slight tweaks and fixes to the website and SEO this week. I've been trying to make sure every page on our site has green for 'good' SEO which has involved changing around meta descriptions, slugs, SEO titles and focus keywords.

I have also started to create an Online Patient Feedback page for our new survey system with The Jamieson Consultancy. At first, I thought this was going to be difficult, but I cloned a product page and made changes to the slider revolution slide at the top (the logo and text and image etc) as well as text on the full page and it looks pretty good. It's a draft at the moment, I need to get feedback from other people before it goes live on our site. I had to create a new logo using Photoshop, so I made sure to use the correct font and colouring as all the other product logos. Eventually, I will need to create a page for e-Rostering as well.

I need to figure out why the dates of our recent posts on our news & events page on the website are wrong! On Monday we posted a new post about our Gateshead win. On every other page where the post is visible it's fine, but when you click on the news & events page, the date of the post displays as the date you're viewing it on! Same for the Cortex post we did recently. It's only those 2 posts that are affected, older posts' dates are correct. It's strange because we hadn't posted anything to this page on the side for over a year and now this is happening!

On Thursday (instead of Wednesday because I needed more time) we had another showreel meeting. This time Aaron Kapala from the e-Learning team joined us and gave us some great constructive criticism. I'm going to look into using Powtoons for certain parts of the showreel and I have a lot more changes to make.

I had a meeting with Simon to go over my new role slides and they are now finished. He is going to send them out to everyone so they are aware of my new role.

Simon and I are creating a new template for proposals. We were inspired by the layout Edgecumbe 360 use. This document will be the new standard format we use.

Simon asked me to create a background that we could use on teams meetings that represents the company. I created one and used it at our team meeting on Wednesday! Everyone liked it, I'm going to work on some new versions.

Next week I have set up a meeting with Tim, Rob and Simon to discuss the marketing strategy for the online patient feedback - we will also be able to discuss the collateral and website page for this.

Fifty-nineth week! (8/2/21 - 12/2/21)

On Monday me and Simon went through the RCPath letter one final time before I sent it out to all of the colleges and faculties. So far we have had one of them come back to us...the College of Physicians of Ireland...hopefully more to come!

I created some social media posts for all platforms using Canva to announce our NHS Gateshead Rostering win and scheduled these to post at 1:30PM on Hootsuite and TweetDeck.

This week I spent a hefty amount of time updating contacts on ZOHO. I updated accounts such as the Countess of Chester, Crondall New Surgery (for a potential HeART opportunity), Salisbury NHS Trust (who we won!), Government Guild (CPD potential opportunity) and made sure all of the RCPath contacts and research I found were on there as well.

On Tuesday Rao from Zebra Technologies gave us a demo of the Rostering system and what it looks like. On Thursday we had the first of our Zebra catchups. I am to suggest social media campaigns for this, preferably on LinkedIn. We need to agree on what type of content we'll be posting. It needs to include our USP's and any wins. Nick Chinn from weNurses could also potentially help us with Twitter

I have made some slight website changes this week. For example, the 'Events' page on our site has been renamed to 'News & Events'. We want to start posting to this regularly (we haven't for over a year!) with information about new wins and possibly expanded pieces of information from the newsletters. Our first post since reviving the page was written by Lewis (our Client Services Manager) talking about how we have been providing Cortex (our LMS) to the Metropolitan Police. I made sure the SEO was as good as possible before posting. I also went through our site and updated any SEO using Yoast that wasn't 'green' for good. A lot of it was orange for OK, but now it's the best it can be!

I have created a new signature for the company to use at the end of their emails.

I updated our pipeline scorecard spreadsheet with Rob and Alice's system opportunities/wins.

I finished and finalised my Synoptic Project. This is now ready to be assessed in my portfolio.

Fifty-eighth week! (1/2/21 - 5/2/21)

This week I finished off the February newsletter and sent it out to PReP clients on Mailchimp. I had to re-import the contacts though however into a new account as people have been unsubscribing from the emails on the main account which we use for system release notes, which they must receive! This account I made is now for all marketing emails.

We had our final Synoptic Project call with Emma this week for Task 4 and I managed the complete the whole task in one day. I still need to finish off my Task 1 document and then my whole project is done.

I attended a G-Cloud 12 webinar but halfway through realised it was intended for buyers, not suppliers! I still learnt a lot about the buyer's process through.

On our showreel meeting, Simon suggested that I show what we have so far to Aaron (our e-Learning director) and he suggested a few tweaks which I can easily fix. Apart from that, we need to make sure to include the appropriate screen recordings for the products, then we can purchase the HD footage.

On our Sales Plans meeting, even though I was only told 10 minutes beforehand, I gave a small presentation to the attendees on my new Marketing Executive role which I hope to move into very soon.

We had the first of many Zebra Rostering meetings with the Professor. He gave me some good feedback on the brochure regarding changing fonts to their typeface, and we have decided we're going to create some Linkedin social media campaigns to promote the system. I also need to research the HSJ advertorial.

I made some changes to our company organisation chart regarding our Zebra project.

With the help of the finance department, we submitted our G-Cloud management information for January regarding our Salisbury win.

Me and Simon have scheduled monthly Zoho audits in the calendar. Tyona is going to be CC'ing me in all client related emails from now on so I can ensure Zoho contacts are updated.

Fifty-seventh week! (25/1/21 - 29/1/21)

This week me and Simon spoke with Angela from Cavell who Premier IT have worked with in the past - we hope to be able to support them with fundraising and campaigns this year including their usual 10K for Nurses. I will be aliasing with Angela to make sure this happens.

On Tuesday I continued working on my Synoptic Project with Task 3 and I had a call with Emma in the morning to go through it like we have for the past 2 tasks.

I have continued working on the newsletter this week after chasing many people for their pieces and it is now finished and ready to be sent out on Mailchimp on Monday.

I have created a fun 'League Table' for Simon to keep track of all of our sales and wins in a fun competitive way.

I also have been helping Simon with a very important presentation he's doing to Zebra Technologies who we are collaborating with on Rostering - I helped gather data and charts and spreadsheets to use to make us look impressive.
